Skyweaver enters its final testing phase!!
On Thursday with the release of one the biggest patches in Skyweaver’s history (Patch 65), Skyweaver has entered its final testing phase just before the open beta! This update will contain:
– A new, temporary currency type.
– A brand new, competitive game mode.
– Gold cards!
Here today, I will be breaking down all these exciting changes and news for you:
New Currency!
Sadly, we have to say goodbye to our beloved ARC. Yes, Horizon removes the ARC from game, but introduces us to a brand-new currency called DAI. This new “coin” will now have more purposes than
ARC had with the addition of the new game mode. As Horizon said right now the “test” DAI will not be worth anything but when open beta kicks in 1 DAI will be equivalent to approximately 1USD.
Conquest!
Conquest is Horizon’s new addition to Skyweaver. This game mode has it all, cool name, cool rewards, competitive aura… what could you wish more from a game mode? To put it as simply as it is, pay the entry fee, 3 wins to conquer, 1 loose and you are out… well, kind of. Even if you do not win all 3 matches, you still get some rewards.
For 0 wins you will not get anything but the measly amount of match experience. Sad…. but true.
For 1 win you get a silver card… and you kind of get your money back.
For 2 wins you get 2 silver cards… stonks!!
For 3 wins you get a silver card and a gold card… congratulations, you are the champ!!
Gold cards!
Gold cards are finally here and they are here to stay. No jokes on this one. The gold cards are the greatest form of flex over your opponent. Gameplay wise these cards do not bring anything to the table, but the extra shine from the cosmetic powers of these cards could help you psychologically dominate your opponent!! As Horizon said, again, gold cards are exclusively generated by playing conquest. No, you cannot forge any gold you want or get a random one from the available 500 cards. There will be 8-cards list that will change weekly displaying the available cards to acquire in gold.
