Let the Festivals begin !!!!
I’m SKRILL, and I’m back,……in black (Or white…) after a decently sized 3 months break from the social, and competitive scenes. I’m back just in time to bring you the news of the sky.
The summer season has a lot in store for us, starting with the Clash of Inventors, which features the greatest inventors gathering for Kore City’s annual Festival of Innovation, starting July 7th, story-wise speaking. Gameplay-wise…. enter: <<DASH>>. Units with Dash cannot attack the enemy Hero on the turn played, but they can rumble with enemy units though.
Under a specific schedule our beloved streamers will be revealing 5 cards each, but, till then, here are the first 8 cards we know.
Steam Knight: STR, Metal, Unit STR, 4c, 4/4 << Dash>>, [Shield].
Chromeosaur: STR, Metal, Unit, 6c, 5/5, <<Dasdh>>, {Chomp}, Give 7 cost and higher units in your hand and deck -2cost.
Bloodletter: AGI, Dark, Unit 2c, 1/1, <<Stealth, Lifesteal>>, {Vile Vial}, After your hero loses health during your turn, do 1 damage to the enemy hero and gain +1/+1.
Overdraft: WIS, Light, Spell, 4c, Attach chains to the lowest-health unit. Do 1 damage to it. Repeat for each card in your hand.
Scrapstrosity: HRT, Metal, Unit, 7c, 1/1, Play: Dust target hero’s top two highest cost dead units to gain their combined power, health, and traits. (<<Guard>> over <<Stealth>>).
Micro-Manager: INT, Metal, Unit, 5c, 3/3, <<Armor>>, {Micro-Swarm}, After a 1cost or less ally unit is summoned, give it +1 power and attach [Shield] to it.
Micro-Swarm: INT, Metal, Spell, 2c, Summon three Micron Drone.
Micron Drone: Token, Metal, Unit, 1c, 1/1 <<Dash>>.
Now let’s talk about the most fearsome event of the summer. Get your faces…. and game faces ready this July….. for the annual Fox Fang Summer Smorcfest, hosted by the supreme leader himself,
JustAddBacon (Totally did not get paid to say it like this). We’ll be
waiting for the inventions to hit the public eye to see who can acquire, adapt
and conquer under new conditions, meaning cheek clapping fest will take place
after the first week of July

and qualification conditions are not set yet, so stay tuned for more
information and updates on this one.
Community Gaming also hosts a 1000$ Constructed tourney, starting on the 1st of July. It will be a single-elimination type of tournament, every match being a bo3 (Best of 3), except for Finals and Semi-Finals, which will be bo5. Once you win with a Hero, you cant use it for the rest of the matchup. There are about 44 spots left and no qualification conditions, just sign up on their site and throw down for the big prize.
